The ski jumping world record: 254.5 metres

Domen Prevc has held the official world record of 254.5 m since 2025, set at the Letalnica bratov Gorišek in Planica. Longer jumps have been made outside official competition — Ryoyu Kobayashi has jumped 291 m — but they are not records.

Four world records in a single day

The Gorišek brothers' hill at Planica opened in March 1969, and it has since seen four world records set in a single day.

Figures describe Slovenia as a whole, not just the resorts we track. Skier visits are shown only where a national industry body or two independent reports agree.
