Racers approach 160 km/h on the Lauberhorn's Haneggschuss, the highest speeds on the World Cup circuit. A run takes about two and a half minutes, 30 to 45 seconds longer than a standard downhill, and includes a 40 m jump over a rock nose, a bridge taken at around 80 km/h and a tunnel under the Wengernalpbahn railway.
